Ohio High School Softball - Hopewell-Loudon bounces Danbury

In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains softball squad scored a good 14-5 triumph over the Danbury Lakers.

With the triumph, Hopewell-Loudon improves its record to 10-5 on the year. The Chieftains host Gibsonburg (Gibsonburg, OH) to face the Golden Bears in a Sandusky Bay - River contest on Thursday, April 24. The Golden Bears enter the contest with a record of 8-5. Gibsonburg lost 4-2 in their recent league contest against Calvert (Tiffin, OH)

The Lakers now hold a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Lakota for a Sandusky Bay - River contest on Thursday, April 24. Danbury will face a Raiders squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Van Buren (Van Buren, OH). The Raiders record now stands at 6-5.
