In Wednesday's league match, the host Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones softball team scored a nice 12-2 victory over the Sullivan East Patriots.

The Fighting Cyclones (16-10) will now prepare for their match against Happy Valley (Elizabethton, TN). The Warriors go into the non-league match with a 0-14 record.

In their next game, the Patriots battle the Unaka Rangers (Elizabethton, TN) in a non-league match, on Thursday, April 24. Sullivan East will attempt to better on its 4-16 season record. The Rangers go into the match with a 5-8 record after their 5-4 league loss to Cloudland (Roan Mountain, TN).
