The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Fort Thomas Apaches (Fort Thomas, AZ) and the visiting San Simon Longhorns (San Simon, AZ), observed Fort Thomas's softball team prevail over San Simon by a tally of 18-8.

The Apaches (7-12) will now prepare for their bout against Valley Union (Elfrida, AZ). The Blue Devils go into the non-league bout with a 5-8 record. In their last bout, Valley Union was routed by St. David (St. David, AZ), 20-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Longhorns clash with the Hayden Lobos (Winkelman, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 28. San Simon will attempt to advance on its 2-14 season record. The Lobos go into the bout with a 10-14 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Florence (Florence, AZ).
