The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Gilford Golden Eagles (Gilford, NH) and the visiting Somersworth Toppers (Somersworth, NH), observed Gilford's softball team notch a victory over Somersworth by a final score of 14-0.

The Golden Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their bout against Belmont (Belmont, NH). The Red Raiders go into the Division III bout with a 3-2 record. In their last bout, Belmont gained a win over Trinity (Manchester, NH), 10-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Toppers battle the Prospect Mountain Timberwolves (Alton, NH) in a Division III bout, on Monday, May 5. Somersworth will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record.
