Connecticut High School Softball - Housatonic succumbs to Thomaston

In Wednesday's league test, the Thomaston Bears (Thomaston, CT) softball squad overwhelmed the host Housatonic Mountaineers (Falls Village, CT), by a tally of 17-0.

Next, the Bears meet the Housatonic-Lakeview Mountaineers (Falls Village, CT) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, April 23. Thomaston will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record.

The Mountaineers (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Shepaug Valley (Washington, CT). The Spartans go into the Berkshire test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Shepaug Valley prevailed over Abbott RVT (Danbury, CT), 16-1, in a non-league test.
