Pennsylvania High School Softball - James Buchanan bounces West Perry

April 23, 2025: Mercersburg, PA 17236

The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the James Buchanan Rockets (Mercersburg, PA) and the visiting West Perry Mustangs (Elliottsburg, PA), observed James Buchanan's softball team get by West Perry by a tally of 7-3.

The Rockets (7-6) will now prepare for their bout against Big Spring (Newville, PA). The Bulldogs go into the Mid-Penn - Colonial bout with a 10-4 record. In their last bout, Big Spring tipped Shippensburg (Shippensburg, PA), 12-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Mifflin County Huskies (Lewistown, PA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 24. West Perry will attempt to advance on its 0-11 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 11-1 non-league win over DuBois (DuBois, PA).
