In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Kennedy Eagles softball team scored a tight 15-12 win over the Waterbury Career Academy Spartans.
The Eagles (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Naugatuck (Naugatuck, CT). The Greyhounds come into the Naugatuck Valley - Brass match with a 3-7 record. In their last match, Naugatuck was routed by Oxford (Oxford, CT), 16-2, in a league match.
