Ohio High School Softball - Lancaster bounces Pickerington Central

The Lancaster Golden Gales softball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Pickerington Central Tigers to 5 in the Golden Gales league win on Wednesday.

The Golden Gales now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boardman for a non-league battle on Friday, April 25. Lancaster will confront a Spartans team coming off a 16-2 non-league win over Cardinal Mooney (Youngstown, OH). The Spartans record now stands at 15-2.

With the loss, Pickerington Central moves to 9-7 on the season. The Tigers travel to Newark (Newark, OH) to confront the Wildcats in a Ohio Capital - Buckeye battle on Thursday, April 24. The Wildcats come into the battle with a record of 4-10. Newark won 18-3 in their recent league battle against Canal Winchester (Canal Winchester, OH)
