Pennsylvania High School Softball - Mohawk Area bounces Quaker Valley

April 23, 2025: Bessemer, PA 16112

The Mohawk Area Warriors (Bessemer, PA) softball routed the visiting Quaker Valley Quakers (Leetsdale, PA), 13-2 in Wednesday's league outing.

The Warriors now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hopewell for a WPIAL 3A 2 outing on Friday, April 25. Mohawk Area will encounter a Vikings team coming off a 13-0 league win over Beaver Falls (Beaver Falls, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Quaker Valley moves to 3-5 on the season. The Quakers host Ellwood City (Ellwood City, PA) to encounter the Wolverine in a WPIAL 3A 2 outing on Thursday, April 24. The Wolverine come into the outing with a record of 6-4. Ellwood City lost 6-2 in their recent league outing against Mohawk Area (Bessemer, PA)
