Maine High School Softball - Winthrop succumbs to Mountain Valley

In Wednesday's league test, the Mountain Valley Falcons (Rumford, ME) softball squad overwhelmed the host Winthrop Ramblers (Winthrop, ME), by a tally of 19-7.
Next, the Falcons clash with the Hall-Dale Bulldogs (Farmingdale, ME) in a Class C South test, on Friday, April 25. Mountain Valley will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 1-0 record after their 4-1 league win over Dirigo (Dixfield, ME).
The Ramblers (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Madison (Madison, ME). The Bulldogs go into the Class C South test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Madison was routed by Lisbon (Lisbon Falls, ME), 20-5, in a league test.
