Pennsylvania High School Softball - New Brighton succumbs to Shenango

April 23, 2025: New Brighton, PA 15066

In Wednesday's league test, the Shenango Wildcats (New Castle, PA) softball squad overwhelmed the host New Brighton Lions (New Brighton, PA), by a tally of 16-0.

Next, the Wildcats clash with the Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 1 test, on Friday, April 25. Shenango will attempt to advance on its 8-7 season record. The Lancers go into the test with a 12-0 record after their 6-2 league win over Laurel (New Castle, PA).

The Lions (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Neshannock (New Castle, PA). The Lancers go into the WPIAL 2A 1 test with a 13-0 record.
