In Wednesday's league test, the Nonnewaug Chiefs (Woodbury, CT) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Terryville Kangaroos (Terryville, CT), by a tally of 27-0.
Next, the Chiefs meet the Thomaston Bears (Thomaston, CT) in a Berkshire test, on Monday, April 28. Nonnewaug will attempt to advance on its 9-0 season record.
The Kangaroos (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Kaynor Tech (Waterbury, CT). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Kaynor Tech prevailed over Wolcott RVT (Torrington, CT), 11-6, in a league test.
