The Lafayette County Huskers baseball squad (Higginsville, MO), was overwhelmed 5-1 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Carrollton Trojans (Carrollton, MO)

With the triumph, Carrollton moves its record to 15-2 on the season. The Trojans travel to Richmond (Richmond, MO) to confront the Spartans in a non-league contest on Friday, April 24. The Spartans come into the contest with a record of 4-11. Richmond won 15-7 in their recent non-league contest against Lexington (Lexington, MO)

The Huskers now possess a 1-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holden for a non-league contest on Monday, April 27. Lafayette County will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Knob Noster (Knob Noster, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 7-7.
