The Colon Magi baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Mendon Hornets to 3 in the Magi non-league win on Thursday.

The Magi now hold a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Britton Deerfield for a non-league test on Friday, April 24. Colon will play a Tories team coming off a 16-1 non-league loss to Hudson (Hudson, MI). The Tories record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Mendon drops to 4-3 on the year. The Hornets travel to White Pigeon (White Pigeon, MI) to play the Chiefs in a Southwest 10 test on Saturday, April 25. The Chiefs go into the test with a record of 5-4. White Pigeon won 15-0 in their recent league test against Bloomingdale (Bloomingdale, MI)
