The South Point Red Raiders baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Crest Chargers to 3 in the Red Raiders league win on Thursday.
The Red Raiders now own a 18-3 record. They take the field next when they host North Gaston for a Big South 5A/6A test on Tuesday, April 28. South Point will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 9-8 league win over Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 13-7.
With the defeat, Crest drops to 16-4 on the year. The Chargers travel to Huss (Gastonia, NC) to clash with the Huskies in a Big South 5A/6A test on Tuesday, April 28. The Huskies go into the test with a record of 0-12. Huss lost 15-0 in their recent league test against Forestview (Gastonia, NC)
