Illinois High School Softball - Central edges Dundee-Crown

April 23, 2026: Burlington, IL 60109

In Thursday's league match, the host Central Rockets softball team scored a tight 5-3 win over the Dundee-Crown Chargers.

The Rockets (7-7) will now prepare for their match against Geneva (Geneva, IL). The Vikings come into the non-league match with a 4-12 record. In their last match, Geneva nipped Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL), 7-6, in a league match.

In their next game, the Chargers battle the McHenry Warriors (McHenry, IL) in a Fox Valley match, on Monday, April 27. Dundee-Crown will attempt to better on its 5-14 season record. The Warriors come into the match with a 8-10 record after their 7-6 non-league loss to Sycamore (Sycamore, IL).
