Michigan High School Softball - Hastings bounces Plainwell

In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Hastings Saxons softball squad scored a good 16-6 triumph over the Plainwell Trojans.

With the triumph, Hastings improves its record to 4-2 on the year. The Saxons travel to Lumen Christi Catholic (Jackson, MI) to face the Titans in a non-league contest on Saturday, April 25. The Titans enter the contest with a record of 9-2. Lumen Christi Catholic won 14-0 in their recent league contest against Richard (Riverview, MI)

The Trojans now hold a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Edwardsburg for a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 28. Plainwell will face a Eddies squad coming off a 9-6 non-league win over DeKalb (Waterloo, IN). The Eddies record now stands at 9-3.
