California High School Softball - Modesto succumbs to Pitman

April 23, 2026: Modesto, CA 95351

In Thursday's league test, the Pitman Pride (Turlock, CA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Modesto Panthers (Modesto, CA), by a tally of 13-2.

Next, the Pride clash with the Enochs Eagles (Modesto, CA) in a Central California Athletic test, on Monday, April 27. Pitman will attempt to advance on its 13-9 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 11-4 record after their 12-2 league loss to Gregori (Modesto, CA).

The Panthers (7-16) will now prepare for their test against Downey (Modesto, CA). The Knights go into the Central California Athletic test with a 5-11 record. In their last test, Downey was routed by Turlock (Turlock, CA), 18-2, in a league test.
