The St. John Paul II Catholic Lions softball team (Avondale, AZ), was routed 20-3 in Saturday's league test with the visiting Heritage Academy Heroes (Laveen, AZ)

Coming up next, the Heroes encounter the Trivium Prep Crimson Knights (Goodyear, AZ) in a 2A West test, on Monday, April 26. Heritage Academy will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Crimson Knights come into the test with a 5-6 record after their 9-4 non-league loss to Chandler Prep (Chandler, AZ).

The Lions (2-12) will now prepare for their test against Trivium Prep (Goodyear, AZ). The Crimson Knights come into the 2A West test with a 5-6 record.
