In Sunday's non-league game, the visiting Mathews Mustangs baseball team scored a tight 4-3 victory over the Bristol Panthers.
The Mustangs (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Lordstown (Warren, OH). The Red Devils go into the Northeastern Athletic- Stripes game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Lordstown was edged by Chalker (Southington, OH), 23-22, in a league game.
The Panthers (3-6) will now prepare for their game against Maplewood (Cortland, OH). The Rockets go into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Maplewood was edged by Lordstown (Warren, OH), 3-1, in a league game.
