In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Bishop Ward Cyclones baseball team scored a tight 5-4 victory over the Maranatha Christian Academy Eagles.

The Cyclones (9-3) will now prepare for their game against St. Mary's-Colgan (Pittsburg, KS). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, St. Mary's-Colgan was edged by Columbus (Columbus, KS), 11-2, in a non-league game.
