The Fremont Tigers baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Columbus Discoverers to 1 in the Tigers non-league victory on Monday.
The Tigers (6-10) will now prepare for their match against Lincoln Northeast (Lincoln, NE). The Rockets go into the non-league match with a 11-11 record. In their last match, Lincoln Northeast was overwhelmed by Lincoln East (Lincoln, NE), 7-4, in a non-league match.
The Discoverers (9-10) will now prepare for their match against Lincoln Southeast (Lincoln, NE). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 14-8 record. In their last match, Lincoln Southeast edged North Star (Lincoln, NE), 13-2, in a non-league match.
