The Western Wayne Wildcats baseball team (Lake Ariel, PA), was tipped 7-6 in Monday's league outing with the visiting Lakeland Chiefs (Jermyn, PA)

The Chiefs now hold a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holy Cross for a Lackawanna 2 outing on Wednesday, April 26. Lakeland will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 10-1 league loss to Dunmore (Dunmore, PA). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-8.

Next, the Wildcats confront the Riverside Vikings (Taylor, PA) in a Lackawanna 2 outing, on Wednesday, April 26. Western Wayne will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Vikings go into the outing with a 5-6 record after their 9-5 league loss to Old Forge (Old Forge, PA).
