Illinois High School Baseball - Loyola Academy loses to Providence Catholic

The Providence Catholic Celtics crushed the host Loyola Academy Ramblers baseball team by a tally of 16-2 in Monday's league bout.

The Celtics now hold a 16-2 record. They take the field next when they host St. Laurence for a Chicago Catholic - Blue bout on Tuesday, April 25. Providence Catholic will face a Vikings team coming off a 3-0 league win over Marmion (Aurora, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 15-5.

Next, the Ramblers face the Marmion Cadets (Aurora, IL) in a Chicago Catholic - Blue bout, on Tuesday, April 25. Loyola Academy will attempt to advance on its 7-8 season record. The Cadets enter the bout with a 3-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to St. Laurence (Burbank, IL).
