The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the San Ysidro Cougars (San Diego, CA) and the host Castle Park Trojans (Chula Vista, CA), saw San Ysidro's lacrosse team overcome Castle Park by a margin of 11-3.

The Cougars (16-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Mar Vista (Imperial Beach, CA). The Mariners enter the Metro South Bay challenge with a 6-5 record. In their last challenge, Mar Vista beat Montgomery (San Diego, CA), 14-8, in a league challenge.

The Trojans (11-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Otay Ranch (Chula Vista, CA). The Mustangs enter the Metro Mesa challenge with a 1-9 record. In their last challenge, Otay Ranch was overwhelmed by Mar Vista (Imperial Beach, CA), 15-3, in a non-league challenge.
