The Swain County Maroon Devils soccer team scored 4 points and limited the visiting Blue Ridge Early College Bobcats to 1 in the Maroon Devils league victory on Monday.
Next, the Maroon Devils face the Highlands Highlanders (Highlands, NC) in a Smoky Mountain 1A contest, on Thursday, April 27. Swain County will attempt to better on its 10-3 season record. The Highlanders enter the contest with a 8-4 record after their 2-0 league win over Hayesville (Hayesville, NC).
The Bobcats now have a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tri-County for a Smoky Mountain 1A contest on Tuesday, April 25. Blue Ridge Early College will face a Jaguars team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Murphy (Murphy, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 0-8.
