Louisa County Lions (Mineral, VA) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA), 2-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Lions confront the Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) in a Jefferson challenge, on Tuesday, April 25. Louisa County will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 9-0 record after their 1-0 league win over Orange County (Orange, VA).

The Bulldogs now possess a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fluvanna County for a Jefferson challenge on Monday, May 1. Goochland will confront a Flying Flucos team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Flying Flucos record now stands at 3-5.
