The Pinecrest Patriots smashed the host Southern Lee Cavaliers soccer squad by a margin of 9-0 in Monday's league match.
The Patriots now sport a 12-4 record. They play next when they travel to Scotland for a Sandhills 3A/4A match on Thursday, April 27. Pinecrest will encounter a Fighting Scots squad coming off a 9-0 league loss to Union Pines (Cameron, NC). The Fighting Scots record now stands at 3-8.
With the loss, Southern Lee drops to 3-9 on the season. The Cavaliers host Hoke County (Raeford, NC) to encounter the Bucks in a Sandhills 3A/4A match on Tuesday, April 25.
