The Montebello Oilers baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Bell Gardens Lancers to 2 in the Oilers league victory on Monday.

The Oilers (12-5) will now prepare for their match against Schurr (Montebello, CA). The Spartans go into the match with a 7-6 record. In their last match, Schurr was overwhelmed by South (Torrance, CA), 13-1, in a non-league challenge.

With the defeat, Bell Gardens falls to 0-6 on the season.
