The West Springfield Spartans softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Alexandria City Titans to 6 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, West Springfield improves its record to 7-3 on the year. The Spartans host Woodson (Fairfax, VA) to clash with the Cavaliers in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 25. The Cavaliers come into the game with a record of 8-0. Woodson won 12-9 in their recent non-league game against South County (Lorton, VA)

In their next game, the Titans clash with the Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 25. Alexandria City will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Bruins come into the game with a 7-2 record after their 14-10 non-league win over West Springfield (Springfield, VA).
