Spectators at Monday's league match between the Andrean Fighting 59ers (Merrillville, IN) and the host Munster Mustangs (Munster, IN), witnessed Andrean's softball squad tip Munster by a count of 5-1.

The Fighting 59ers now sport a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Kankakee Valley for a match on Tuesday, May 2.

With the loss, Munster moves to 1-3 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN) to face the Kougars in a match on Friday, April 28. The Kougars go into the match with a record of 2-9. Kankakee Valley lost 13-2 in their recent league match against Hobart (Hobart, IN)
