Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Woodson Cavaliers (Fairfax, VA) and the visiting South County Stallions (Lorton, VA), witnessed Woodson's softball squad tip South County by a count of 12-9.

The Cavaliers now sport a 8-0 record. They play next when they travel to West Springfield for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 25. Woodson will face a Spartans squad coming off a 10-6 non-league win over Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, South County moves to 2-5 on the season. The Stallions travel to Robinson (Fairfax, VA) to face the Rams in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 25. The Rams go into the match with a record of 8-1.
