The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Kettle Run Cougars (Nokesville, VA) and the visiting Liberty Eagles (Bealeton, VA), saw Kettle Run's lacrosse team top Liberty by a margin of 21-8.

The Cougars (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Fauquier (Warrenton, VA). The Falcons enter the Northwestern challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Fauquier beat Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA), 17-7, in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Orange County (Orange, VA). The Fighting Hornets enter the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Orange County beat Goochland (Goochland, VA), 16-12, in a non-league challenge.
