In Monday's non-league test, the visiting Nonnewaug Chiefs lacrosse squad scored a tight 17-10 victory over the Wolcott Eagles.
The Chiefs now have a 1-0 record.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Brookfield Bobcats (Brookfield, CT) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 29. Wolcott will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Bobcats come into the test with a 1-7 record after their 20-1 league loss to New Milford (New Milford, CT).
