South Dakota High School Softball - Alcester-Hudson bounces Beresford

Alcester-Hudson Cubs (Alcester, SD) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Beresford Watchdogs (Beresford, SD), 16-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Cubs now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sioux Falls Christian for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 4.

With the loss, Beresford falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Watchdogs host Lennox (Lennox, SD) to face the Orioles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 25. The Orioles enter the challenge with a record of 2-1. Lennox won 9-7 in their recent league challenge against Beresford (Beresford, SD)
