Barnstable Red Hawks (Hyannis, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Martha's Vineyard Regional Vineyarders (Oak Bluffs, MA), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Red Hawks now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Non Varsity Opponent for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 26.

With the loss, Martha's Vineyard Regional falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Vineyarders host Sturgis East (Hyannis, MA) to battle the Storm in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 28. The Storm enter the challenge with a record of 4-1. Sturgis East won 5-0 in their recent league challenge against St. John Paul II (Hyannis, MA)
