Woodland Wolverines (Dorchester, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Battery Creek Dolphins (Beaufort, SC), 18-10 in a non-league challenge.

The Wolverines now own a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Timberland for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 25. Woodland will battle a Wolves squad coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to West Ashley (Charleston, SC). The Wolves record now stands at 10-12.

With the loss, Battery Creek falls to 10-9 on the campaign. The Dolphins travel to John Paul II (Ridgeland, SC) to battle the Golden Warrriors in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 25. The Golden Warrriors enter the challenge with a record of 8-5. John Paul II won 12-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Cross Episcopal (Bluffton, SC)
