In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Bishop Walsh Spartans softball team scored a close 7-2 triumph over the Fort Hill Sentinels.
With the triumph, Bishop Walsh moves its record to 14-4 on the year. The Spartans host Northern (Accident, MD) to play the Huskies in a Western Maryland contest on Wednesday, April 26. The Huskies come into the contest with a record of 2-6. Northern won 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against Berlin Brothersvalley (Berlin, PA)
In their next game, the Sentinels play the Frankfort Falcons (Ridgeley, WV) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, April 27. Fort Hill will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record.
