The West Essex Knights softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Bloomfield Bengals to 0 in the Knights league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, West Essex moves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Knights host Millburn (Millburn, NJ) to clash with the Millers in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 25. The Millers come into the game with a record of 1-1.
