Lafayette Generals (Lexington, KY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Bryan Station Defenders (Lexington, KY), 11-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Generals now sport a 13-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Paul Laurence Dunbar for a District 43 challenge on Tuesday, April 25. Lafayette will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 7-4 league loss to Lexington Christian (Lexington, KY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-10.

With the loss, Bryan Station falls to 10-8 on the campaign. The Defenders host Tates Creek (Lexington, KY) to face the Commodores in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 25. The Commodores enter the challenge with a record of 11-9. Tates Creek lost 12-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Henry Clay (Lexington, KY)
