The Pittsburg Dragons the host Chanute Blue Comets softball squad by a count of 6-2 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Dragons (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Parsons (Parsons, KS). The Vikings go into the non-league battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Parsons nudged Iola (Iola, KS), 8-7, in a non-league battle.
The Blue Comets now sport a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Girard for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 25. Chanute will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Frontenac (Frontenac, KS). The Trojans record now stands at 4-1.
