Rhode Island High School Softball - Classical thwarted by Rogers

The Classical Purples softball team (Providence, RI), was routed 19-4 in Monday's league test with the visiting Rogers Vikings (Newport, RI)

Coming up next, the Vikings clash with the Narragansett Mariners (Narragansett, RI) in a non-league test, on Friday, April 28. Rogers will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Mariners come into the test with a 3-3 record after their 6-3 league loss to South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI).

The Purples (0-8) will now prepare for their test against Mount St. Charles Academy (Woonsocket, RI). The Mounties come into the Division 3 test with a 10-0 record. In their last test, Mount St. Charles Academy overcame Tiverton (Tiverton, RI), 4-2, in a league test.
