East Davidson Golden Eagles (Thomasville, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Lexington Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Golden Eagles now sport a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thomasville for a Central Carolina 1A/2A challenge on Wednesday, April 26. East Davidson will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 21-5 non-league loss to Trinity (Trinity, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-12.

With the loss, Lexington falls to 2-13 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to North Rowan (Spencer, NC) to face the Cavaliers in a Central Carolina 1A/2A challenge on Tuesday, April 25. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a record of 4-6. North Rowan lost 19-1 in their recent league challenge against West Davidson (Lexington, NC)
