Eastern Musketeers (Pekin, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Springs Valley Blackhawks (French Lick, IN), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Musketeers now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Corydon Central for a Mid-Southern challenge on Tuesday, April 25. Eastern will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Providence (Clarksville, IN). The Panthers record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, Springs Valley falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Blackhawks host Mitchell (Mitchell, IN) to battle the Bluejackets in a Patoka Lake challenge on Tuesday, April 25. The Bluejackets enter the challenge with a record of 9-6. Mitchell lost 20-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Bedford North Lawrence (Bedford, IN)
