In Monday's non-league contest, the Elk Rapids Elks (Elk Rapids, MI) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Frankfort Panthers (Frankfort, MI), by a margin of 11-0.

With the triumph, Elk Rapids moves its record to 9-1 on the year. The Elks travel to Charlevoix (Charlevoix, MI) to play the Rayders in a Lake Michigan contest on Thursday, April 27. The Rayders come into the contest with a record of 2-3. Charlevoix won 20-2 in their recent non-league contest against Hastings (Hastings, MI)

The Panthers (0-3) will now prepare for their outing against Glen Lake (Maple City, MI). The Lakers enter the Northwest outing with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, Glen Lake ran past Brethren (Brethren, MI), 17-2, in a non-league outing.
