The Foothills Christian Knights softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Mount Miguel Matadors to 2 in the Knights non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Foothills Christian moves its record to 7-2 on the year. The Knights travel to Tri-City Christian (Vista, CA) to play the Eagles in a Coastal game on Tuesday, April 25. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 9-3. Tri-City Christian won 5-4 in their recent league game against Foothills Christian (El Cajon, CA)

In their next game, the Matadors play the Monte Vista Monarchs (Spring Valley, CA) in a Grossmont Valley game, on Wednesday, April 26. Mount Miguel will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record. The Monarchs come into the game with a 4-6 record after their 14-0 league loss to Valhalla (El Cajon, CA).
