The Francis W. Parker Colonels softball team scored 18 runs and limited the host Latin Romans to 17 in the Colonels league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Francis W. Parker improves its record to 4-2 on the year. The Colonels travel to Latin (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Romans in a Independent Schools game on Friday, April 28. The Romans come into the game with a record of 3-5. Latin won 18-3 in their recent non-league game against Holy Trinity (Chicago, IL)

In their next game, the Romans clash with the Regina Dominican Panthers (Wilmette, IL) in a GCAC-White game, on Wednesday, April 26. Latin will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 5-5 record after their 15-8 non-league loss to Niles North (Skokie, IL).
