Oregon High School Softball - Gaston bounces St. Paul

The Gaston Greyhounds routed the host St. Paul Buckaroos softball squad by a count of 16-5 in Monday's league battle.
The Greyhounds (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Vernonia (Vernonia, OR). The Loggers go into the 2A/1A-SD1 Special District 1 battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Vernonia was routed by Knappa (Astoria, OR), 7-1, in a league battle.
The Buckaroos now sport a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Willamina for a 3A Special District 1 battle on Wednesday, April 26. St. Paul will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 4-3 league win over Clatskanie (Clatskanie, OR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-2.
