The Mercer Island Islanders softball team scored 18 runs and limited the host Interlake Saints to 2 in the Islanders league triumph on Monday.

The Kangaroos come into the game with a record of 6-8. Lake Washington lost 7-4 in their recent non-league game against Rochester (Rochester, WA)

In their next game, the Saints play the Hazen Highlanders (Renton, WA) in a 3A KingCo game, on Wednesday, April 26. Interlake will attempt to move on its 1-12 season record. The Highlanders come into the game with a 2-9 record after their 21-3 league loss to Bellevue (Bellevue, WA).
