Loris Lions (Loris, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Johnsonville Flashes (Johnsonville, SC), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Lions now own a 18-4 record. They take the field next when they host Waccamaw for a AAA Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, April 25. Loris will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Carvers Bay (Hemingway, SC). The Warriors record now stands at 8-12.

With the loss, Johnsonville falls to 10-7 on the campaign. The Flashes travel to Green Sea Floyds (Green Sea, SC) to battle the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 28. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 5-15. Green Sea Floyds lost 17-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Marion (Marion, SC)
